With a view of the outside, from a nearby hill..
This is my most recent one, last summer, 2014. Not one of my largest, only four rooms, but nicely constructed. I am learning more wood house building techniques as I go along.
One might ask to what end, or how would one use these skills and techniques that I am learning; to which I would reply, ” well to build wood houses, of course.”
This is video of the house about three quarters finished. The front room and the hallway are to be finished.
this is called ” The Quadruple” because it is a sequential simultaneous double reverse elbow break, followed by a simultaneous double palm heel break. ( You might ask who calls it by this name and , if you did, I would reply,”I do.”) Who else?
This is called “The Triple” because it is a simultaneous break of three boards with one foot break and two hand breaks.
This is the kind of woodsplitting I do in karate class and in a few tournaments. You can see these breaks described in an article I wrote about them in the August 2009 issue of “Black Belt Magazine”. page 86. I think that I invented them.
